Eastern RL organises Rugby League in Suffolk and North Essex.  It is a joint venture between Ipswich Rhinos and Colchester Romans to promote Rugby League in East Anglia and to provide a structure to help with the administration of both clubs.

Eastern RL runs three teams providing opportunities for men and women rugby players of all standards and abilities:

• Ipswich Rhinos are the First Grade side competing in the Southern Premier league of the Rugby League Conference 
• Colchester Romans are the Second Grade side playing in the East Division of the RLC
• Eastern Raiders are a Development side competing is the London Amatuer Rugby league against teams of a similar standard
